Biography

Larry is a retired naval aviator and a Naval Academy Class of 1974 graduate. He retired from his second career in Information Technology and is enjoying retirement in the North Georgia mountains by pursuing his passion for writing. He has published nine books to date, six of which are based on his life experiences.

 To Hoist a Symbol Hue is a memoir of Larry's four years at the Naval Academy during the turbulent 70's.

 Our Elizabeth Her Struggle With Opioid Addiction tells the story of Larry's youngest daughter's struggle with opioid addiction and his family's attempt to help her.

 In Tall Oaks: Living The Retirement Dream Larry shares his experience on how to plan for retirement day-to-day activity in order to best achieve happiness.

 Hometown Innocence Lost is Larry's memoir of growing up in a small mid-western town in the late 50s, a time of innocence, and the chaotic 60s when that sense of innocence was lost.

 Three Down and Locked is Larry's memoir of training for and then serving as an Anti-Submarine Warfare pilot tracking Soviet submarines during the Cold War Days of the late seventies. 

We Were Called to Serve is an anthology of over 60 of Larry's '74 USNA classmates' inspirational memories of their 4 years together at the Naval Academy over 50 years ago.

Larry is currently writing a six-part short-read military fictional thriller series about cyber warfare. The series is set in a dystopian future dominated by powerful corporations, hackers and shadowy government agencies. It follows a group of unlikely heroes caught in the crosshairs of a cyber war that could destroy civilization as we know it. The first 3 books have already been published :

- The Global Network: Unmasking the Shadow of Phoenix

The remaining three books of the series will be released throughout 2025.
